Shalom Native Mission
Local Pastors in India
Support of national pastors has always been at the heart of Shalom Native Missions ministry. Many of the local pastors have sent their children to Shalom Academy in their desire to provide a good Christian education. Out of this personal investment these pastors have participated in preaching in chapels and been active participant's in the very effective Vacation Bible School. The members of the local churches and the pastors themselves work in mostly agrarian jobs. Any financial support they receive allows these godly servants to better focus on their ministry, and lessens their need to work an outside job to meet their families needs. In the past year severe persecution has been leveled against the Christian community in NE India. Villages, homes and churches have been burned and many lives lost. Similarly to the persecution seen in the book of Acts the result has been movement away from these areas most severe persecution and so 4 pastors/church planters have moved to another state where many of the persecuted have immigrated. Please join us in providing the financial and prayer support these leaders of the persecuted church in NE India. The pictures below tell some of their story.
